Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Voodoo Daddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Clubber Lang!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy's corner calls for a 1-2. Daddy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Daddy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lang doesn't seem bothered though.
Lang darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Daddy tests Lang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Clubber Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daddy lands a big right hand that sends Lang crashing to the mat! Daddy stays standing though and waves Lang back to his feet!
Lang is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daddy sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Lang's defenses. It connects perfectly with Lang's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Voodoo Daddy!
Voodoo Daddy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
