Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eddy Napleton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorik Revazov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Revazov with a lazy takedown attempt and Napleton counters with a lovely straight right hand! Napleton is looking to clinch. Despite the aggression on Revazov's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Napleton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Napleton moves in looking to clinch but Revazov pushes him off. Revazov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Revazov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Napleton is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Revazov yanks on the arm and Napleton is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Revazov.
