The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gregorio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Taylor is in Gregorio's guard.
Taylor won't allow Gregorio to sweep him here.
Taylor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Gregorio is looking to cinch up a triangle. Taylor throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gregorio's body to avoid the submission. Gregorio has instead reached around Taylor's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gregorio arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
