Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hades Hug (ranked 3156 p4p, 357 weight class) and Akamai Hoi (ranked 3990 p4p, 433 weight class). Hug comes into the arena with Animal I Have Become blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hoi's choice of entrance music: Blood Red Sky. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
39 - 35 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hades Hug! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Akamai Hoi! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hug walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hoi. Hug throws a combination that misses and Hoi counters with an outside leg kick.
Hoi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hug.
We've been told by Hug's head coaches at Spar Bros that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hades Hug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoi avoids the head kick by Hug.
Hug throws a sloppy head kick and Hoi moves out of range easily. Hug pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hoi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hug sprawls well initially but Hoi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hoi content to control rather than advance. Hoi is thwarting Hug's attempts to control the position. Hoi performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Hoi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hug is looking for a sweep. Hoi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hug is looking to escape.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hoi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hug tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hoi is in Hug's guard. Hoi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Hoi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Hoi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Hoi tries to free his leg and advance position but Hug is retaining full guard. Hoi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hug misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hoi lands a head kick!
Hoi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hug avoids it really well and circles away. A combination from Hug does no damage. Hug misses with a double jab
and Hoi counters with a crisp one two that drops Hug! Hoi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hug to his feet! Hug is in big trouble!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hug throws a right and a left that Hoi avoids nicely. Hoi lands a big head kick that sends Hug tumbling to the mat! Hoi takes a step backwards and waves Hug back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hug is rocked!
It looks like Hades Hug has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Hug swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hoi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Oh Hug is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hug is breathing heavily. Hoi gets a powerful takedown and that's hurt Hug. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Hug prevents Hoi from moving into mount. Hug can't do much from the bottom here. Hug seems to have got his legs back now. Hoi controls the position. Hoi stands up and beckons Hug to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akamai Hoi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hades Hug's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Oooooh!!! Hoi has knocked Hug down with a huge combo! Hoi steps away and waves a wobbly Hug back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Sloppy strikes from Hug. Those never looked like landing. No joy there for Hug, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hug backing away here, and Hoi unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hoi! Hug is out on his feet! Hoi rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hug is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hug is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akamai Hoi! Akamai Hoi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
