Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Chief (ranked 5832 p4p, 599 weight class) and Ryan Hadley (ranked 4442 p4p, 487 weight class). Chief kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Push It To the Limit. Ryan Hadley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ryan Hadley!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hadley gets tackled into the cage by Chief. Chief maintains the clinch.
Hadley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chief after a bit of a struggle.

Chief turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Chief stands up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hadley.
Hadley tries for a takedown but Chief circles away easily

and Chief counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bobby Chief has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Hadley.

Chief drags the fight down to the ground.
Chief on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chief tries to get out of the position.
Hadley trying to control the position from guard on top but Chief is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chief wants to get back to his feet but Hadley passes into half guard.
Chief keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Hadley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chief knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Chief desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Hadley trying to control the action but Chief is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hadley is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Hadley is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Chief is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
