Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bartholomäus Wolff (ranked 4162 p4p, 84 weight class) and Alex Stefanovic (ranked 5102 p4p, 104 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bartholomäus Wolff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Stefanovic!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolff drives through and clinches with Stefanovic against the cage.
Wolff misses with a short punch on the inside.
Wolff tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Stefanovic blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
With the fighters up against the cage, Stefanovic throws an elbow but misses.
Wolff struggles to land a body shot inside as Stefanovic controls his hands.

Stefanovic pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Wolff throws a punch but it's blocked by Stefanovic.

Stefanovic comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Wolff swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Wolff breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wolff swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wolff moves away from the strike by Stefanovic.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wolff looks to land a left hand but Stefanovic moved out of range nicely.
Wolff sets himself, and Stefanovic steps forward looking for the clinch! Wolff avoids it this time.

Stefanovic has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wolff finds it's way round the side to connect with Stefanovic's head.

Stefanovic's coach down at Crapollas Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stefanovic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Wolff lands a jab.

Wolff bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stefanovic's head.

Stefanovic throws a right and a left that Wolff avoids nicely.

Stefanovic steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wolff.
Wolff lands with a thumping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I was talking to Wolff's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Still in the clinch, Wolff scores with a nice short uppercut.
Stefanovic misses with an elbow over the top.
Wolff drops Stefanovic onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Stefanovic is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Stefanovic pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Stefanovic is still on wobbly legs! Can Wolff finish him?

Stefanovic looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Wolff avoids a wild elbow strike from Stefanovic.
Wolff unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Stefanovic! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Wolff is unloading with more strikes now! Stefanovic drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bartholomäus Wolff!
Bartholomäus Wolff bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
