Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zaad misses with a body punch
and Shadow counters with a big head kick but Zaad shrugs it off.
Zaad lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Zaad looks to land a combination but Shadow avoids it well.
Shadow swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Shadow misses with a body shot.
Zaad with a nice cross.
Zaad just misses with a punch to the body.
Zaad's coach down at Crapollas Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zaad's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Zaad avoids the body shot from Shadow.
Zaad lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shadow at a distance.
Chara Zaad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shadow scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zaad doesn't seem bothered though.
Shadow jabs at Zaad's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zaad throws a hook to the side of Shadow's head but Shadow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zaad takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A punch combination from Zaad misses.
Shadow was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Shadow throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shadow throws a series of punches but Zaad moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zaad stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Shadow closes the distance and clinches.
Shadow pushes Zaad back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Zaad wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Shadow successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shadow controls Zaad momentarily but Zaad frees himself.
Shadow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zaad's guard.

Zaad is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Zaad looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Shadow advances position into side control!

Shadow has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Zaad is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Shadow yanks on the arm and Zaad is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Shadow.
