And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Gregor!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Gregor misses the target.
Go Bucks lands with a thumping leg kick.
Go Bucks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gregor.
Gregor misses with an uppercut. Go Bucks saw that one coming.
We've been informed that Gregor has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gregor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Gregor throws a jab but it's blocked by Go Bucks.

As Gregor looks to move away, Go Bucks throws a big counter combo but Gregor just gets out of the way.

and Go Bucks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gregor lands a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gregor throws a nice looking combination but Go Bucks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Go Bucks is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Go Bucks cracks Gregor with a big right hand and Gregor goes down!


That has opened up James Gregor's cut even more.
Gregor tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Go Bucks keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gregor's head.

Gregor wants to get back to his feet but Go Bucks is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Go Bucks throws a big right hand that misses.
Go Bucks throws a strike but Gregor rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gregor wants to control from the top but Go Bucks keeps moving.
Go Bucks wants to stand and escape but Gregor is having none of it.
Gregor postures up and lands a big shot to Go Bucks's brow.
Go Bucks wants to get back to his feet but Gregor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Go Bucks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gregor working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Go Bucks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Go Bucks tries to get out of the position.

Go Bucks utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Go Bucks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Gregor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Go Bucks works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gregor postures up in Go Bucks's guard and throws a big left but Go Bucks blocks it.
Go Bucks wants to stand and escape but Gregor is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Gregor might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Go Bucks walks into a jab.
Gregor throws a big shot that misses.

and Go Bucks counters with a good low kick that Gregor was not able to check.

and Go Bucks counters with a good, hard body kick but Gregor shrugs it off.

Go Bucks appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Gregor looks to land a right hand but Go Bucks moved out of range.

Gregor jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Go Bucks throws a counter high kick but Gregor was just alert enough to avoid it.
Go Bucks slips a jab and a cross from Gregor.

Gregor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Go Bucks connects with a crisp jab.


The cut above James Gregor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Go Bucks's corner calls for a 1-2. Go Bucks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Go Bucks counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gregor is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Gregor throws an overhand right that lands on Go Bucks's shoulder, as Go Bucks tries to avoid the shot.
Go Bucks moves forwards but Gregor connects with a nice, crisp jab.

letting Go Bucks counter with a right hand.
Go Bucks lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


James Gregor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

and Go Bucks counters with a left hand that sends Gregor to the canvas!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Gregor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
