PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Master Disaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Master Disaster looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Disaster keeps the fight on the outside. Disaster fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garcia sprawls well initially but Disaster persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Garcia gets full guard. Garcia controls Disaster momentarily but Disaster frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garcia pushes a forearm under Disaster's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Disaster is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marcelo Garcia!
