The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hedderick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wiatrzyk sprawls well initially but hedderick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wiatrzyk wants to control but hedderick is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Wiatrzyk feints and as hedderick raises his hands in defense, Wiatrzyk changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wiatrzyk wants to get up but he can't break hedderick's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
