Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerhard Rihmakallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Jedard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rihmakallo comes to the cage accompanied by Blood For Blood-Living In Exile. Jedard has chosen Creeping Death by Metallica as his entrance music. Steve Jedard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerhard Rihmakallo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Jedard! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jedard misses with a wild combination.
Rihmakallo tries to clinch there but Jedard circles away.
Rihmakallo throws a head kick but Jedard moves out of range.
Jedard has managed to clinch.
Jedard ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jedard no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Rihmakallo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rihmakallo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rihmakallo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jedard looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jedard keeping moving, preventing Rihmakallo from controlling successfully. Rihmakallo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jedard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jedard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rihmakallo throws a series of punches but Jedard avoids them all with ease. Jedard scores with a jab to the jaw. Rihmakallo throws a head kick that misses. Rihmakallo is breathing heavily. Some wild striking there from Jedard.
A jab-cross combination lands for Jedard and sends Rihmakallo crashing to the mat! Jedard follows him down to the mat - Rihmakallo regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Rihmakallo is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jedard wants to pass to mount but Rihmakallo is defending the position. Jedard seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Rihmakallo has recovered full guard. Jedard trying to control the position from guard on top but Rihmakallo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jedard stands up over Rihmakallo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rihmakallo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jedard stands up and waves to Rihmakallo to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jedard drives through and clinches with Rihmakallo against the cage.
Jedard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rihmakallo throws a sloppy head kick and Jedard moves out of range easily. Jedard misses with a two punch combination.
Jedard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rihmakallo throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Jedard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jedard working the ground and pound from side control. Jedard stands up. Jedard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rihmakallo throws a head kick that misses. Rihmakallo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jedard throws a wild body kick that Rihmakallo sees coming a mile off. Jedard gets a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rihmakallo has hold of Jedard's hands but Jedard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jedard is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rihmakallo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rihmakallo is refusing to be controlled, as Jedard sits in half guard. Rihmakallo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rihmakallo looking for submissions off his back. Jedard escapes and gets back to his feet. Jedard looks to land a combination. Rihmakallo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A nice combination there by Jedard.
Jedard closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jedard lands in his opponent's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jedard advances position into side control! An elbow from Jedard crashes against the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jedard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rihmakallo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jedard's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Jedard dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jedard throws a nice looking combination but Rihmakallo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rihmakallo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rihmakallo takes the fight into the clinch. Jedard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rihmakallo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jedard avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jedard wants to break free but Rihmakallo has control.
Jedard lands with a right to the head. Rihmakallo looking for a takedown. Jedard wants the takedown. Rihmakallo is fighting it off but Jedard persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rihmakallo's guard against the cage. Jedard trying to control but Rihmakallo is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jedard gets to his feet. Rihmakallo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Some wild striking there from Jedard.
Jedard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jedard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jedard is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Rihmakallo is in real trouble.
Rihmakallo just trying to survive but Jedard is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Rihmakallo is in bad spot here.
Rihmakallo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rihmakallo fending off the submission attempt from Jedard. Rihmakallo tries to escape but Jedard has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Jedard trying to control momentarily.
Jedard working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jedard is looking for the choke from the back position but Rihmakallo is controlling his hands well. Jedard is cranking Rihmakallo's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Rihmakallo! He's tightened the choke and Rihmakallo is tapping out!
