Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roosevelt Coleman (ranked 559 p4p, 68 weight class) and Darryl Haze (ranked 1615 p4p, 189 weight class). Haze has chosen Border Patrol - Eek A Mouse as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Darryl Haze was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roosevelt Coleman! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Darryl Haze! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haze misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haze on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Haze uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coleman. Coleman lands a leg kick that knocks Haze off balance momentarily. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Haze!
Coleman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Coleman avoids the head kick by Haze.
A looping hook to the body misses from Haze. Coleman does a little dance to reset his feet. Haze checks a low kick from Coleman. Coleman throws a leg kick and Haze counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coleman throws a hook to the side of Haze's head but Haze sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Haze throws a counter combo. Haze throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Haze throws a poor cross that misses
and Coleman counters with a straight right hand. An inside leg kick lands from Coleman. Coleman scores with a hook to the body. Haze takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Haze moves out of range of the strikes. It seemed like Haze was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown. Haze tries to sprawl out of it but Coleman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Haze manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Coleman backing away here, and Haze unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Haze swinging wildly here.
Coleman misses with the body kick and Haze counters with a stiff right hand. That kick from Haze tenderised Coleman's leg. Coleman is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haze misses the jab. Coleman ducks under a wild hook from Haze. A swing and a miss from Haze. Haze lands a two punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coleman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Roosevelt Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haze takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Haze misses with a looping right. Coleman getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Haze moves away from the strike by Coleman. Haze throws a low kick but Coleman moves out of range easily. Coleman cracks Haze with a good jab. Coleman lands a big uppercut and Haze crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Haze looks OK. Coleman waves Haze back to his feet!

That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Haze misses. Coleman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haze appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Coleman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Coleman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Coleman throws a quick inside leg kick. Haze throws the left hand but Coleman avoids the punch easily. Haze avoids the body shot from Coleman.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Haze! But no joy. Coleman throws a jab but it's blocked by Haze. Haze is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. A slapping leg kick lands for Coleman.
Haze throws a right hand that Coleman ducks under and follows up with a left that Coleman also avoids with ease. Coleman throws a shot to the body.
Coleman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman is looking to slow Haze down with leg kicks. Coleman misses with a leg kick. Coleman misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Haze counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coleman misses with a wild body shot. Coleman misses with a looping right. Haze throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman. Darryl Haze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Coleman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Coleman throws a poor cross that misses
and Haze counters with a lovely shot to the body. Haze shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roosevelt Coleman will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

A big right from Haze misses. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Haze checks a leg kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Haze! But no joy. Haze keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Haze looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Haze checks the leg kick. Haze doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. A jab from Haze finds it's way through Coleman's defenses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Coleman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Haze takes a swing at Coleman's ribcage but misses. Coleman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Haze sprawls and moves away. Coleman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Haze sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman lands with a nice body punch. Coleman ducks under a wild hook from Haze. A little feinted left hand from Coleman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Coleman digs a good hook to Haze's body.
Haze on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Haze is breathing heavily. Haze walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Coleman jabs Haze right on the nose. Haze blinks but takes it well. You can see that Haze has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Haze lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coleman circles away quickly and effectively. Coleman tries to land a body kick and Haze counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Coleman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Coleman misses the shot to the body. Haze appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Coleman tests Haze's chin there with a solid looking shot. Coleman tries to work over Haze's front leg with a kick but Haze checks it. Haze looks like he wants to counter punch here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coleman goes for a double leg but Haze avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Haze continues to drive forward.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman connects with a right hand. Haze shakes it off. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Coleman.
Coleman walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Haze drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Coleman swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Haze's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roosevelt Coleman! Roosevelt Coleman retains his heavyweight title! Roosevelt Coleman seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. In defeat, Darryl Haze stepped up to the mic, saying 'I lost because I was spat on by a venomous snake on my way to the arena and I had trouble seeing on account of the bright lights in my dressing room. I had blurred vision and numbness in my neck, eyes, arms, and lower torso. No way I would have lost otherwise!'.
