Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benz Bulver (ranked 1754 p4p, 174 weight class) and James Winkle (ranked 3644 p4p, 332 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bulver might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Little Eagle Soars. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benz Bulver! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Winkle ! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winkle closes the distance and clinches up with Bulver, looking for a takedown. Winkle pushes Bulver against the cage but Bulver circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A jab lands there for Bulver. Bulver looks to land a combination but Winkle avoids it well. Bulver scores with a decent looking hook. Bulver thuds his right hand into Winkle 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like James Winkle has been cut. Bulver dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Winkle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bulver sprawls well. Bulver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Winkle gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters circle momentarily. Bulver darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulver fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Winkle on the side of the head. Bulver goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Winkle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bulver defends well and Winkle ends up having to push Bulver into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Benz Bulver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Winkle . Bulver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Winkle . Winkle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bulver sprawls well. Bulver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Winkle gets slowly back to his feet. Bulver went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Benz Bulver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bulver lands with a straight right. Winkle didn't see that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winkle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bulver digs a good body shot into Winkle 's ribs. Bulver connects with a jab.
Winkle is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bulver fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Winkle out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Benz Bulver! Benz Bulver retains his lightweight title! An out of breath and clearly excited Benz Bulver thanked Freebok (85% Laundry) for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
