Wrench kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Crazy Train. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Appleberry!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrench has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Appleberry.
Wrench takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Don Appleberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wrench feints and as Appleberry raises his hands in defense, Wrench changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've been hearing that Wrench has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Wrench is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Appleberry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wrench. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wrench drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wrench jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Appleberry can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wrench has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Appleberry doesn't defend quickly enough and Wrench has managed to lock this one up! Can Appleberry escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wrench on a fantastic submission victory.
