The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judge misses with a body shot.
Espinoza went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Judge cracks Espinoza with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Judge has Espinoza up against the cage in a clinch.
Espinoza is looking to control Judge's arms but Judge gets an underhook and turns him. Now Espinoza has his back to the cage.
Judge lands a right hand that snaps the head of Espinoza backwards.


It looks like Isaias Espinoza has been cut.

Espinoza is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Judge can't fight it off and eventually Espinoza manages to take the fight to the floor. Judge looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Judge clinches up with Espinoza and pushes him back against the cage.

Judge shoots in looking for a takedown. Espinoza tries to sprawl out of it but Judge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Espinoza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Judge connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tim Judge seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Espinoza wants to break the clinch but can't.

Judge throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Judge pushes Espinoza off and scrambles back to his feet.
Judge wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Judge changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Espinoza tries to avoid it but Judge manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Espinoza to the ground. Espinoza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for Judge, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Espinoza lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Judge scores with a head kick.
Espinoza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Judge swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Isaias Espinoza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tim Judge is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Judge has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
