The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biscuit scores with a takedown into Sainty's guard.
Sainty preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Biscuit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've been hearing good reports from Sainty's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Biscuit postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Biscuit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sainty working for a triangle but Biscuit defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Biscuit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sainty keeps working.
Sainty has hold of Biscuit's hands but Biscuit slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Biscuit looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sainty with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Biscuit seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Biscuit lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Sainty! More strikes land and this one is all over! Biscuit jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Schmorgen Biscuit really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that IniTech Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
