Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Mendez (ranked 607 p4p, 99 weight class) and Gum Shoe (ranked 751 p4p, 128 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Angelito. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angelo Mendez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gum Shoe! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shoe throws a lazy right hand but Mendez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shoe fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Shoe slips under a jab. Shoe throws a sloppy body shot
and Mendez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mendez throws a lazy uppercut
and Shoe counters with a nice uppercut. Mendez sizes up Shoe with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Shoe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A chopping leg kick lands by Shoe. Mendez throws a lazy uppercut
and Shoe counters with a good low kick that Mendez was not able to check. Mendez just misses with a punch to the body.
Shoe misses with a series of wild punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shoe misses with a hook
and Mendez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fighters circling - Mendez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Shoe scores with a body shot.
Mendez misses with a few strikes there.
Mendez misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez throws a series of punches but Shoe moves out of range. Shoe misses with a body shot.
Shoe darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Shoe uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mendez has time to react.
Mendez is rocked! Mendez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shoe sees it coming and avoids it easily. Shoe unleashes a big counter combination but Mendez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Oh Mendez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! BOOM! Shoe lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mendez. Mendez tries to recover but Shoe is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mendez lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
