The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Dwayne.
Kantola is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Dwayne throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kantola holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Kantola has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We've been hearing good reports from Kantola's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Kantola seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dwayne for as long as he can get away with.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kantola, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ari Kantola tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
