Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timo Vesala (ranked 5963 p4p, 277 weight class) and Yves Jabouin (ranked 5009 p4p, 235 weight class). Vesala comes to the cage accompanied by Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler. Jabouin has chosen Trobule On My Mind- Pusha T and Tyler The Creator as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesala lands with a good body shot.
Jabouin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vesala.

Jabouin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vesala moves away.

Vesala closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vesala lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Vesala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jabouin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Timo Vesala.
I think Vesala has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
