Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Love Machine (ranked 4215 p4p, 378 weight class) and Eric Anderson (ranked 5025 p4p, 427 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Machine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tubthumping. Anderson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Out of Control. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eric Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine scores with a shot to the body.
Machine scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Eric Anderson has been cut.
Machine throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anderson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Machine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Anderson lands a nice hook to Machine's body. Machine takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A swing and a miss from Anderson.
Anderson misses with a looping left.
Anderson tries to clinch there but Machine circles away.
Machine fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Anderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Machine circles away quickly and effectively.
Machine was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Machine uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anderson.
A little feinted left hand from Machine on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Machine cracks Anderson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Machine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Anderson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Anderson instigates a clinch.
Machine on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Machine misses with a short punch on the inside.
Machine lands with a right to the head.
Machine misses with a body punch.
Machine working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Machine scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Anderson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Anderson manages to break the clinch.
Machine cracks Anderson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Anderson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Machine finish him?
Anderson is rocked!
Machine scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Machine finish him?
Anderson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Machine doesn't seem bothered though.
Machine really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Machine finds Anderson's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Anderson flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Machine lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Anderson will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Love Machine!
