Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Foster Castaneda (ranked 8221 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Shaw (ranked 6052 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Foster Castaneda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greg Shaw! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw scores with a crisp jab that stopped Castaneda in his tracks. Shaw misses the body punch and Castaneda counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Castaneda. Shaw on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A short body shot lands from Castaneda as the two fighters clinch.
Shaw wants to get back to striking at distance but Castaneda won't allow it.
Castaneda keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Shaw's efforts to push away. Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A low kick from Shaw is predictable there and Castaneda counters with a nice double leg into guard. Castaneda controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are working up against the cage. Shaw manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Castaneda misses with a punch to the body.
Castaneda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shaw has had enough of the clinch but Castaneda keeps him there for the moment.

Shaw changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Shaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Castaneda was well out of range. Poor timing from Shaw. Shaw misses with a leg kick and Castaneda counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shaw won't be happy with that. Castaneda trying to control the action but Shaw is working from the bottom. Castaneda controlling from side mount. Castaneda tries for a kimura but Shaw is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Castaneda in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Castaneda is trying to get an arm triangle but Shaw is defending well. Castaneda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shaw knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Castaneda thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Castaneda is looking to take a break and control but Shaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Castaneda has just dragged him back down to the mat. Castaneda stands up. No joy there for Shaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shaw will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Castaneda drops down looking for a counter takedown but Shaw sprawls and moves away. Castaneda misses with a takedown attempt - Shaw sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Greg Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shaw forces Castaneda back against the cage and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castaneda prevents Shaw from breaking the clinch. Shaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Castaneda on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Castaneda tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Shaw gets caught flat footed, as Castaneda shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Castaneda stays in close to Shaw's body and controls the position. Castaneda trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shaw wants to get back to his feet but Castaneda is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Castaneda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Castaneda controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Greg Shaw will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Castaneda closes the distance and clinches up with Shaw, looking for a takedown. Castaneda pushes Shaw against the cage but Shaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The fighters circle momentarily. Shaw darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Foster Castaneda has been cut. No joy there for Shaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shaw connects with a superb combination that knocks Castaneda out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Shaw before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Castaneda!

A very excited looking Greg Shaw made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
