Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyoto Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aki Kamala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kyoto Machine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aki Kamala! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machine scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Kamala looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kamala tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Machine swivels and escapes. Kamala is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kamala shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kamala tries to clinch up. Machine misses with a few strikes there.
Kamala looks for a takedown but Machine sprawls well. Kyoto Machine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aki Kamala. Kamala tries to clinch but Machine is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Machine swats away the attempt to clinch by Kamala. Kamala wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Machine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kamala, who protects the arm well. Machine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kamala struggling a bit here. Machine fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Machine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kamala is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kamala tries to buck Machine off but Machine is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Machine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Machine tries for a kimura but Kamala is defending well. Machine is breathing heavily. Kamala pushes Machine away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Machine gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kamala struggling a bit here. Machine is trying to get an arm triangle but Kamala is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kamala's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Machine is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kamala knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kamala is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Machine's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Kamala trying to control but Machine postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kamala tries to get to full guard but Machine has control of the leg. Machine is working for a submission of some sort.
Kamala is controlling Machine's position as best he can from this difficult position. Machine tries to pass to full mount but Kamala defends it. Machine missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kamala connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kamala tries for a takedown but Machine circles away easily and Machine counters with a single leg into guard. Kamala didn't expect that. Machine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Machine looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kamala has his foot on Machine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Machine works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine passes into half guard. Kamala has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Machine is working away from the top position though. Machine is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machine is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kamala wants to get back to full guard. Machine moves into full mount! Kamala won't be happy about that! Machine wants to control the pace but Kamala is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kamala is in all sorts of trouble here.
Machine wants to finish this one by submission but Kamala is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Machine. Kamala keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kamala tries to hold on but Machine postures up. Machine wants to control the pace but Kamala is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine is going olschool here, as he tries to force Kamala to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kamala shrugs it off. Machine won't let Kamala get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Machine forces the positional change into back control. Kamala tries to break free.

Machine working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Machine tries to keep control of the position but Kamala is staying busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyoto Machine dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Kamala tries for a takedown but Machine circles away easily and Machine counters with a single leg into guard. Kamala didn't expect that. Machine in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Machine postures up and lands a big shot to Kamala's brow. Machine tries to free his leg and advance position but Kamala is retaining full guard. Machine is working hard here to advance position. Machine advances to half guard. Machine moves nicely into side control. Machine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Machine in side control lands a decent elbow. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Machine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Machine tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kamala tries to get back to half guard but can't. Machine working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kamala's legs. Machine looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kamala can't do much from the bottom here. Machine trying to control the position but Kamala is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kamala gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Machine passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kamala! Kamala is trying desperately to improve position. Machine moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kamala has worked his arm free - good work by Kamala!

Kamala is looking for a sweep. Kamala is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Aki Kamala has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kyoto Machine is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Machine prevents Kamala from improving his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyoto Machine showed his dominance in that final round. Well Machine has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
