Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sidusu Teloshi (ranked 4340 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juancho Guerrero (ranked 7604 p4p, 0 weight class). Juancho Guerrero told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sidusu Teloshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juancho Guerrero! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerrero swats away the attempt to clinch by Teloshi. Guerrero looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Guerrero slaps away a takedown attempt from Teloshi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Teloshi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guerrero's waist but Guerrero gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Teloshi off to one side. Teloshi stuffs the takedown attempt from Guerrero. Guerrero gets slowly back to his feet. Guerrero is looking to clinch but Teloshi is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Teloshi tries to clinch but Guerrero is having none of it. Teloshi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's one minute gone in the round. Teloshi fails with the takedown and Guerrero moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sidusu Teloshi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guerrero fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Guerrero is looking to take this one to the mat. Teloshi working hard to break the clinch. Guerrero prevents a takedown attempt there.

Sidusu Teloshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Teloshi is defended easily by Guerrero. Teloshi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Teloshi working hard to break the clinch. Guerrero turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Guerrero manages to end up in side control. Teloshi explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guerrero dives in and scores a takedown into Teloshi's guard. Teloshi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Guerrero wanted to stand there but Teloshi had control of the position. Teloshi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Guerrero must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerrero lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Teloshi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Teloshi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Guerrero instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Teloshi wants to take the fight to the mat but Guerrero manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Guerrero obliges. Guerrero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Teloshi avoids the head kick by Guerrero.
Teloshi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. No luck for Teloshi with that takedown attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guerrero throws a sloppy head kick and Teloshi moves out of range easily. Teloshi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juancho Guerrero dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Teloshi fails to land the takedown. Teloshi tries to land a body kick and Guerrero counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Teloshi! Teloshi is trying to control Guerrero's posture but Guerrero avoids it. Guerrero stands up. Teloshi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Guerrero defends it nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerrero has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrero pulls guard. Teloshi looking to pass the guard. Guerrero is controlling Teloshi's posture. Guerrero pushes Teloshi off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Guerrero lands a slapping body shot.
Guerrero has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerrero closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Teloshi did well to prevent Guerrero getting side control. Guerrero stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Teloshi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Teloshi working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerrero stands up from guard. Let's bang! Teloshi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Guerrero counters with a nice body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sidusu Teloshi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guerrero shoots in and bounces Teloshi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Teloshi is wriggling around but Guerrero manages to pass to half guard.

Guerrero trying to control the pace. Teloshi wants to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guerrero is looking to advance position but Teloshi won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juancho Guerrero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Teloshi shoots for a double leg takedown but Guerrero sprawls well. He's pushed Teloshi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No luck for Guerrero with that takedown attempt. Guerrero avoids the head kick by Teloshi.
Guerrero wants to counter the offense by Teloshi and move into the clinch position. Guerrero dives in and scores a takedown into Teloshi's guard. Teloshi throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Teloshi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Guerrero defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerrero controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teloshi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Guerrero stands up and waves to Teloshi to follow him. Guerrero manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Teloshi on his heels. He'll look to pass Teloshi's guard now, I'm sure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Teloshi wants to control the position but Guerrero says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Teloshi is trying to stand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Teloshi wants to get back to full guard. Teloshi tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Guerrero has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Guerrero is standing up, even though he is in mount. Guerrero drives through with a takedown into Teloshi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Teloshi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guerrero is one step ahead there. Juancho Guerrero is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guerrero content to stall in guard here. Guerrero stands up and waves to Teloshi to follow him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Teloshi throws a series of punches but Guerrero moves out of range. Guerrero has managed to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Juancho Guerrero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Guerrero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
