Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Moshington (ranked 418 p4p, 49 weight class) and Akeen Coker (ranked 109 p4p, 17 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moshington might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Common Enemny - Pit Trilogy. Akeen Coker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

29 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akeen Coker! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moshington scores with a jab to the body. Coker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Coker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Moshington on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Coker on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Coker getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Moshington tries to clinch but Coker moves away and Coker counters with an inside leg kick. Coker misses with a straight left. Akeen Coker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moshington misses with a looping left. Nice jab there from Moshington. Coker looks for the body kick but Moshington saw that one coming. Moshington seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Coker just misses with a punch to the body.

Coker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Moshington has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Moshington is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Moshington stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Coker. Coker throws a quick inside leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moshington tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Coker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moshington manages to avoid it. Moshington throws a series of punches but Coker avoids them all with ease. Coker punishes Moshington's body with a nice straight punch. Moshington throws a lazy right hand but Coker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Akeen Coker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Moshington slips a jab from Coker. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coker cracks the inside of Moshington's front leg. Coker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Moshington can't fight it off and eventually Coker manages to take the fight to the floor. Moshington looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Moshington escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Coker is looking to pass into half guard but Moshington pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Moshington is in guard.
Moshington throws a sloppy strike and Coker has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Moshington is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Coker!
