Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avi Agababa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tong Po has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tong Po! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avi Agababa! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Agababa moves in looking to clinch but Po pushes him off. Po is looking to clinch but Agababa is avoiding it.
Agababa shoots for a takedown but Po saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Agababa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Po drops Agababa with a nice combination! Po dives into Agababa's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Avi Agababa has been cut. Agababa looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Po postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Agababa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Po, into his guard. Agababa won't allow Po to get back to his feet. Po doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Po has his foot on Agababa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Agababa works his way back into a safe position though. Agababa wants to pass the guard but Po is keeping the position. Po is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Agababa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Po will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Po trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Agababa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Po fails with the takedown and Agababa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Agababa. Po not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Po lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Po. Po misses with a takedown attempt and Agababa counters with an inside leg kick. Po doesn't succeed with the takedown and Agababa counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tong Po. That's going to take a lot out of him. Agababa sitting in guard here, content to control. Po is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Agababa won't allow Po to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Agababa wants to improve his position but Po is controlling well.
Agababa is refusing to be controlled, as Po sits in half guard. Po is really struggling to control Agababa but he's trying to hold on to the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Po is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Agababa is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tong Po will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Avi Agababa's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Agababa is breathing heavily. Agababa wants to control from the top but Po keeps moving. Po controls Agababa momentarily but Agababa frees himself.

Po is looking to regain half guard here but Agababa keeps moving and retains side control. Po sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Agababa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Po is just riding it out for now. Agababa eventually gives up the hold. Po wants to control but Agababa is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Agababa shoots in but Po avoids the takedown attempt easily. Po shoots in but no luck this time. Po with a poor takedown and Agababa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Agababa. Agababa misses with an elbow over the top. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Agababa takes a shot to the head. Po pushes Agababa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Po wants a takedown but no success here.

Po can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. Po tries to pull guard but Agababa won't allow it.

Po manages to get back to half guard. Po is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Agababa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Agababa's back! Po trying to control momentarily.

Nice move. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Agababa. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Agababa striking from the bottom. Po sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Agababa defending well though. It looks like Po is going to stand back up.
