Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blind Shaman (ranked 727 p4p, 119 weight class) and Neo Wiggin (ranked 1265 p4p, 196 weight class). Shaman's entrance music is Shaman's Dream. A fine choice. Neo Wiggin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blind Shaman! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neo Wiggin! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiggin looks to land a combination. Shaman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Shaman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wiggin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shaman scrambles back to his feet. Wiggin scores with a decent looking hook. Shaman misses with the combination.
Shaman stuns Wiggin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Wiggin looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wiggin throws a lazy right hand but Shaman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shaman throws a quick counter head kick but Wiggin was just out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wiggin, as that shot connected.
Shaman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wiggin was well out of range. Poor timing from Shaman. Wiggin misses the jab. Shaman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Shaman rushes Wiggin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shaman keeps control of Wiggin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wiggin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shaman's elbow. Wiggin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Shaman has his foot on Wiggin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wiggin works his way back into a safe position though. Wiggin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wiggin wants to control from the top but Shaman keeps moving. Wiggin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiggin postures up in Shaman's guard and throws a big left but Shaman blocks it. Wiggin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wiggin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shaman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wiggin has managed to get both his arms back between Shaman's legs - danger averted. Shaman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wiggin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shaman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wiggin throws a strike but Shaman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Shaman is fighting to break Wiggin's control of his arms but Wiggin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Shaman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Shaman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wiggin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shaman won't allow Wiggin to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaman advances position into side control! The referee asks Shaman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Shaman prefers to stall for the moment though. Wiggin wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Shaman seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Wiggin is tapping! Wow, great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Brabo Choke). Blind Shaman! Blind Shaman is the new welterweight champion! A very excited looking Blind Shaman made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
