Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Salgado (ranked 2071 p4p, 247 weight class) and Jer Bear (ranked 2401 p4p, 282 weight class). Bear has chosen Good Times as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francisco Salgado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jer Bear! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salgado connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Jer Bear has been cut. Bear throws a big shot that misses. Salgado connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Salgado throws a jab when Bear was well out of range. Bear clinches up with Salgado and pushes him back against the cage. Bear pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Salgado throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bear has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bear taking a breather. Bear blocks an elbow strike from Salgado.
Bear has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Salgado is trying to keep an underhook but Bear manages to get the takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salgado controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Salgado tries to roll over but Bear keeps him under control. Salgado is staying active underneath Bear, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Salgado looking for submissions off his back. Bear throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salgado is looking to improve his position.
Bear stops Salgado from getting back to his feet.
Bear drops an elbow to the side of Salgado's head. Salgado moves into full guard.
Bear trying to control the position from guard on top but Salgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bear cracks Salgado with a solid left hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear stands up over Salgado, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Salgado is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bear is aware though and is defending well. Salgado wants to stand and escape but Bear is having none of it. Bear throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bear working some strikes from top position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bear trying to control but Salgado is working from the bottom. Bear passes into half guard. Salgado looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Salgado trying to control from the bottom.
Bear working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bear slips a nice elbow through Salgado's hands, connecting with Salgado's forehead. Bear throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear drops an elbow to the side of Salgado's head.
Salgado is rocked! Salgado pushes Bear off looking to stand but Bear dives back in and keeps control.
Salgado misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Salgado is positioning himself well to prevent Bear advancing to mount. Bear scores with a big shot! Salgado's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Salgado! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jer Bear! A very excited looking Jer Bear made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
