Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Barron (ranked 25403 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Kijewski (ranked 6439 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Guy Barron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Kijewski! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kijewski gets a clinch. Kijewski lands a takedown into guard.
Barron is trying to keep Kijewski in close.
Barron working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kijewski. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barron looking for a sweep. Not yet Barron, not yet. Kijewski trying to control but Barron is working from the bottom. Barron could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kijewski throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barron wants to stand but Kijewski is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Barron gets tackled into the cage by Kijewski. Kijewski maintains the clinch. Barron trying to land knees to the body.
Barron lands a hook to the side of the head. Kijewski with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Barron wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kijewski has him pressed against the cage. Barron struggles to land a body shot inside as Kijewski controls his hands.
Kijewski lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Kijewski is trying to work for a kimura but Barron is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kijewski trying to mount his opponent but Barron defends it. Barron is pressing down on Kijewski's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kijewski stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kijewski shoots in and gets a takedown into Barron's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kijewski wants to pass the guard but Barron is keeping the position. Kijewski pushing down on Barron's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barron tries to roll over but Kijewski keeps him under control. Barron might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Barron moves into full guard.
Barron has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kijewski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Barron keeping moving, preventing Kijewski from controlling successfully. Kijewski content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kijewski trying to control but Barron is working from the bottom. Barron looking for a sweep. Not yet Barron, not yet. Kijewski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barron is keeping the position for now. Kijewski looking to sit in guard and control but Barron gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barron working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kijewski's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lukasz Kijewski dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Barron shoots in for a double leg but Kijewski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kijewski instigates a clinch. Barron holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kijewski has clasped his hands together around Barron's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Barron sneaks out the side door and pushes Kijewski away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Guy Barron is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Barron tries to sprawl but Kijewski drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kijewski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barron does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barron wants to improve his position but Kijewski is controlling well.
Barron wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barron trying to control but Kijewski postures up.
Barron moves into full guard.
Kijewski looking to sit in guard and control but Barron gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Barron is in close to Kijewski's body, working some short punches and elbows. Barron preventing the sweep. Barron postures up and lands a big shot to Kijewski's brow. Guy Barron overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barron lands a couple of decent looking shots. Barron is looking to work some ground and pound but Kijewski has wrist control. Kijewski throws his legs up looking for a submission but Barron uses it to pass to side control.
Kijewski is breathing heavily. Kijewski is trying to get back to half guard. Barron scoring with punches from side control. Kijewski tries to strike but it doesn't land. Barron decides to stand back up. Barron steps back and let's Kijewski get back to his feet. Kijewski rushes Barron and presses him up against the cage. Kijewski can't break the clinch.
Barron blocks the elbow strike.
Barron misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kijewski connects with a nasty looking knee right to Barron's face.
Kijewski pulls guard successfully.
Barron chips away with some ground and pound. Barron works over Kijewski with some ground and pound from guard. Barron is in close to Kijewski's body, working some short punches and elbows. Barron lands a couple of elbows. Barron wants to stand but Kijewski has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Barron scoring with punches to the head and body. Barron makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Barron lands a couple of digs. Barron stands up from Kijewski's guard - Barron perhaps looking for a knockout. Barron throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kijewski was covering up waiting for the punch and Barron finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barron scoring with some ground and pound. Barron with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kijewski trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Barron working some strikes from top position. Barron scoring with some ground and pound. Barron scoring with punches to the head and body. Barron is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Barron lands a couple of digs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Guy Barron dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Barron shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kijewski pinned against the cage. Kijewski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kijewski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kijewski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barron tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kijewski is in Barron's guard. Barron wants to stand up but Kijewski is controlling him. Kijewski trying to control but Barron is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kijewski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kijewski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kijewski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kijewski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Barron manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kijewski keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Kijewski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kijewski throws a punch but it's blocked by Barron.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barron prevents a body shot from Kijewski. Barron misses with a knee strike.
Kijewski pulls guard. Kijewski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kijewski tries to pass to full mount but Barron defends it. Barron tries to kick Kijewski off but Kijewski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Barron moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barron looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kijewski is one step ahead there. Kijewski trying to control the position from guard on top but Barron is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kijewski postures up and lands a big shot to Barron's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kijewski throws a strike but Barron rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Barron has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kijewski is proving hard to escape from. Barron is working Kijewski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kijewski working a defensive guard here.
Barron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kijewski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Barron is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kijewski. Kijewski takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barron lands a few punches from side control. Barron lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Guy Barron. I think Barron has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
