Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ganny Kogir (ranked 1851 p4p, 221 weight class) and Nick Verheij (ranked 3110 p4p, 358 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Ganny Kogir has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ganny Kogir seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Verheij!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Verheij as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Ganny Kogir has been cut.
Verheij throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kogir sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kogir wants to clinch
and Verheij counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jab, jab by Verheij - just one landing.
Verheij avoids the body shot from Kogir.
It seemed like Verheij was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kogir throws a looping overhand right but Verheij ducks down to avoid it.
Kogir misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Verheij throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Verheij connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kogir. Kogir circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Verheij throws a big shot that misses.
Kogir connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Verheij scores with a shot to the body.
Verheij scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Verheij has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Verheij smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kogir connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Verheij's hands.
Verheij works the jab nicely.
Verheij avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Verheij appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kogir swings for the body but Verheij moves out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Verheij lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kogir backwards.
Verheij breaks from the clinch.
Verheij scores with a punch to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Verheij slips a jab from Kogir.
A nice side step and Verheij releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kogir gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Verheij misses with an uppercut. Kogir saw that one coming.
Kogir is looking to counter the offense by Verheij and move into the clinch.
Kogir tries to clinch
and Verheij counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kogir throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Verheij counters with a nice uppercut.
Kogir is rocked!
Verheij cracks Kogir with a left hook right on the temple and Kogir goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Verheij lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Kogir is OK!
