Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lars Lejonstolt (ranked 3274 p4p, 322 weight class) and Dan McAdams (ranked 1473 p4p, 162 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lars Lejonstolt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan McAdams! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McAdams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McAdams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lejonstolt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McAdams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McAdams throws a hook but Lejonstolt avoids it easily. Lejonstolt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McAdams throws out the jab. Nice cross by Lejonstolt. McAdams paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McAdams has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Lejonstolt tries to clinch there but McAdams circles away.
McAdams drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lejonstolt defends it well. McAdams throws a body shot but no joy. Lejonstolt was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Lejonstolt moves away from the strike by McAdams. McAdams throws a low kick, looking for Lejonstolt's leg but Lejonstolt calmly moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McAdams gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lejonstolt. McAdams misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lejonstolt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McAdams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lejonstolt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McAdams moves away. Nice shot lands for Lejonstolt.
That's one minute gone in the round. McAdams shoots in but Lejonstolt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lejonstolt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Lejonstolt moves into the clinch. McAdams has a couple of punches blocked by Lejonstolt.
Lejonstolt misses with a hook from the clinch. Lejonstolt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McAdams's elbow. McAdams jumps guard but Lejonstolt turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. McAdams pulls guard effortlessly. McAdams has his foot on Lejonstolt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lejonstolt works his way back into a safe position though. McAdams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lejonstolt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McAdams is tightening it up a little... Lejonstolt has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lejonstolt reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lejonstolt taps out! Nice BJJ there by McAdams!
