Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Holton Hamburger!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamburger takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hamburger shoots in and drives through. Bravo sprawls well.
Bravo lands a nice shot that snaps Hamburger's head back.
Bravo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hamburger.
Hamburger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bravo is fending him off so far but Hamburger persists. Nope, Bravo circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnny Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holton Hamburger.
Bravo leaves Hamburger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hamburger tries for a takedown but Bravo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hamburger shoots and misses
and Bravo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Holton Hamburger has been cut.
Bravo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Seppo's Massage Temple in the buildup to the fight.
Hamburger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bravo as he avoids it easily.
Hamburger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bravo to score with a decent uppercut.
Bravo lands a big uppercut and Hamburger crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hamburger looks OK. Bravo waves Hamburger back to his feet!
Hamburger is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hamburger doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bravo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hamburger is still on wobbly legs! Can Bravo finish him?
Hamburger looks winded!
Hamburger leaves his chin hanging out and Bravo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hamburger crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Bravo!
