Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neville Southall (ranked 3503 p4p, 387 weight class) and Shinsuke Nakamura (ranked 5868 p4p, 594 weight class). Nakamura has chosen Rising Sun as his entrance music. Shinsuke Nakamura is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Neville Southall! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinsuke Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Southall scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Southall throws a head kick but Nakamura moves out of range.
Nakamura wants to counter the offense by Southall and move into the clinch position. Nakamura on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A nice leg kick lands there from Southall. Nakamura checks a leg kick nicely. Nakamura tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Southall defends well and Nakamura ends up having to push Southall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A nice leg kick lands there from Southall. Southall misses with a leg kick. Southall throws a low kick, looking for Nakamura's leg but Nakamura calmly moves out of range. Southall delivers a nice body kick. Southall keeps the fight on the outside. An inside leg kick lands from Southall. A thudding body kick lands there by Southall!
Southall bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Nakamura looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Southall throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Nakamura.
It looks like Shinsuke Nakamura has been cut. Southall scores with a kick to the midsection. Nakamura chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Southall can pounce on him.
Southall throws a leg kick which misses Nakamura's front leg but catches the back leg as Nakamura tries to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Southall lands with a nice body kick. Southall feints and then cracks Nakamura's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nakamura down. You can see that Nakamura has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Southall lands a big head kick that sends Nakamura to the canvas! Southall follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neville Southall! Neville Southall retains his heavyweight title! In defeat, Shinsuke Nakamura stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm So Sorry Fans For Lost, I Don't Know I Could Quit MMA And Head Back To WWE Or NJPW Or Train Harder Win My Next Fight For You Fans'.
