Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lay Pray (ranked 6682 p4p, 625 weight class) and Zoey Malone I I I (ranked 6371 p4p, 616 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone I I I cracks Pray with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pray.
Malone I I I is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pray with a body shot.
Pray shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Malone I I I counters with a straight right hand.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Pray.
Malone I I I is not content to let Pray control the position.
Malone I I I tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pray wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Malone I I I is pushing Pray's head away, looking to escape. Pray manages to hold on to the position though.
Pray tries to score with some ground and pound. Malone I I I controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Pray tries to move to mount but Malone I I I blocks the move with his legs.
Pray throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Pray misses with the ground and pound.
Malone I I I avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pray.
Malone I I I is trying to buck Pray off.
Malone I I I has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Pray throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Pray lands some shots froms side control.

Pray wants to control for a moment but Malone I I I uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Malone I I I has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pray is on him like a limpet, forcing Malone I I I back against the cage.
Pray is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Malone I I I gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lay Pray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Malone I I I lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pray backwards.
Pray tries for a takedown. No joy.

Oh Pray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Malone I I I has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Pray is trying to drag Malone I I I to the mat but Malone I I I just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pray drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Malone I I I gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Malone I I I pushes Pray against the cage. Malone I I I is working some dirty boxing. Malone I I I pushes off with a quick right hook! Pray goes down! Pray tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Malone I I I moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
