Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Budko (ranked 8231 p4p, 681 weight class) and Kung Le (ranked 24263 p4p, 722 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Budko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kung Le!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budko gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Le lands with a short shot to the head.
Le lands a body shot in the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Le.
Budko can't find room to land a body shot as Le controls the action.
Le landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Budko is breathing heavily.
Le keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Budko's efforts to push away.
Le pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Le.
Le tries a head kick but it misses.
Le bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Budko's head backwards.
Budko is looking to clinch but Le is avoiding it.
Le feints the counter takedown.
Le lands a head kick!
Le misses with a series of wild punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Le moves away from the strike by Budko.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Le throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Le lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Budko backs up against the cage.
It looks like Ivan Budko has been cut.
Budko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Le lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Budko looks to throw a body kick
and Le counters with a series of strikes. Budko will be more careful next time no doubt.
Budko is rocked!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Le! This one is all over!
