With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fletch Brandis!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandis misses with a double jab.
Velvet misses with a few strikes there.
Velvet lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Velvet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brandis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Velvet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brandis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Velvet misses with a few strikes there.
Brandis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Brandis rushes Velvet and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brandis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Nice body punch from Brandis - that landed with a thud.
Brandis softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Velvet wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Brandis lands a hook to the side of the head.
Velvet has had enough of the clinch but Brandis keeps him there for the moment.

Brandis lands a nice uppercut.
Velvet takes a shot to the head.

Velvet is breathing heavily.

Velvet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sloppy strikes from Velvet. Those never looked like landing.
Velvet looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Velvet lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brandis circles away quickly and effectively.
Despite the aggression on Brandis's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Brandis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brandis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Velvet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brandis counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Velvet badly! He tries to strike back but Brandis puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Velvet out cold! Oh man, Velvet will never hear the end of this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Fletch Brandis!
