Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Denmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Antonius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick Antonius told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Denmark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Patrick Antonius! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antonius tries to clinch up. Antonius throws a hook but Denmark blocks it. Antonius moves into the clinch successfully.
Antonius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Antonius, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Denmark has managed to clinch.
Denmark wants to get back to striking at distance but Antonius won't allow it.
Antonius lands a body punch in the clinch. Denmark slows down the pace here.
Denmark blocks a body shot from Antonius. Denmark breaks from the clinch.
Antonius lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Denmark circles away quickly and effectively. Denmark circles away from the clinch attempt and Denmark counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Antonius wants to break free but Denmark has control.
Antonius working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Antonius is looking to break free of the clinch but Denmark has double underhooks. Denmark wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Antonius has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antonius wants to get back to striking at distance but Denmark won't allow it.
Denmark breaks from the clinch.
Patrick Antonius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Denmark is breathing heavily. Denmark tries for a takedown but Antonius sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Antonius.
Antonius tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Denmark counters by clinching up. Denmark blocking some punches.
Denmark fails to pull guard.
Antonius misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Denmark fails to land. Denmark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Antonius misses with a jab, cross combination.
Antonius misses with an uppercut. Denmark saw that one coming. Antonius connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Thomas Denmark has been cut. Antonius throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Denmark counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Antonius! Antonius trying desperately to get to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Denmark with shots to the head and body - Antonius looks very uncomfortable down there. Antonius really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Denmark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Antonius is trying to stand. Denmark controlling from mount. Denmark has isolated one of Antonius's arms. Antonius looking to fight him off but Denmark twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
