The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Costakis misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Gibson or perhaps it was just good defense by Costakis which made him look bad.
Gibson shoots in for a takedown but Costakis shows good takedown defense.
Costakis stuffs the takedown attempt from Gibson. Gibson gets slowly back to his feet.
George Costakis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spencer Gibson.
Costakis dances in with a quick combination. Gibson is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Costakis snaps Gibson's head back. Gibson stumbles backwards against the cage. Costakis steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Gibson's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans.
