Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B Real (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Real has chosen P.I.M.P as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. B Real has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Figueroa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, B Real! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Real misses with a straight right. Figueroa darts in and clinches Real up against the cage. Figueroa tries to pull guard but Real holds him up against the cage and eventually Figueroa drops back down to his feet.
Real wants to break the clinch but can't.
Real breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Figueroa misses with a looping left. Real tries to clinch but Figueroa moves out of range. Real doesn't manage to clinch there - Figueroa circles away.

Figueroa shoots in and drives through. Real sprawls well. Real avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Real changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Figueroa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Real controlling the position from side mount. Let's hope that Real has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figueroa manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Real wants to pass to mount but Figueroa is defending the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Figueroa wants to get back to his feet.
Real is taking a breather. Figueroa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Figueroa is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Real pulls his head out easily. Real decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Real finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Figueroa clinches up with Real and pushes him back against the cage. Real breaks the clinch.
Figueroa misses with a hook. Real shoots for a takedown but Figueroa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Figueroa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Real. Figueroa checks a low kick from Real. Real stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Figueroa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Figueroa is breathing heavily. Figueroa with a lazy takedown attempt and Real counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Real passes to full mount! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Real controlling the position easily from mount.

A nice elbow there by Real. Real tries to control but Figueroa wriggling away. Real controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Real wants to control the pace but Figueroa is squirming around nicely. Figueroa is working to get back to half guard.

B Real dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Figueroa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Figueroa wants to get back to striking at distance but Real won't allow it.

The fighters land in half guard but Real regains guard immediately. Real is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Figueroa preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Real working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Figueroa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Figueroa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Real is looking for a triangle but Figueroa pushes his legs off easily.
Real preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Real has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Figueroa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Real is keeping the position for now. Figueroa preventing the sweep.

Figueroa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Real swivels though and keeps the full guard. Figueroa throwing strikes from guard but Real blocks nicely. Real lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Figueroa! Figueroa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Real content just to control the position here.

Real controlling from mount. Real is going olschool here, as he tries to force Figueroa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Figueroa shrugs it off. Real is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Figueroa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Figueroa!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Real is trying to control the position but Figueroa postures up. Figueroa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Real trying to keep a closed guard but Figueroa is proving a slippery customer.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Real keeping moving, preventing Figueroa from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
B Real showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Despite being in the dominant position, B Real just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Real shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Real showed some decent athleticism there. B Real has got the better of the ground game so far. Real passes the guard and advances to mount! Figueroa holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Real tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Real throws a low kick, looking for Figueroa's leg but Figueroa calmly moves out of range. Figueroa keeps the fight on the outside. Real connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Figueroa misses with a wild combination.

Real attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Real blocks a jab. Real shoots in and bounces Figueroa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Real slips nicely into half guard. B Real is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Figueroa is looking to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight! B Real comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Real winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
