Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Boudreaux (ranked 5441 p4p, 472 weight class) and Pepa Mengel (ranked 4709 p4p, 437 weight class). Boudreaux's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dhal Jaun Main-Akshay Kumar & Ileana D'cruz. Mengel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sieg Heil Viktoria kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mengel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boudreaux counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A shot to the body from Mengel misses
and Boudreaux counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Pepa Mengel has been cut.
Mengel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Boudreaux lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mengel at a distance.
Boudreaux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A big left from Boudreaux misses.
Mengel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boudreaux uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mengel has time to react.
Boudreaux lands with a right hand.
Mengel misses with an uppercut
and Boudreaux counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mengel is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mengel takes a swing at Boudreaux's ribcage but misses.
Mengel missing with a left hand there. Boudreaux was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Mengel is still on wobbly legs! Can Boudreaux finish him?
Mengel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boudreaux digs a good body shot into Mengel's ribs.
Mengel is aggressively charging in as Boudreaux backs up avoiding any damage. Boudreaux tosses out a jab and Mengel runs right into it face first! Mengel is out cold! Boudreaux dropped down on all fours and is barking in Mengel's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Boudreaux!
Nathan Boudreaux bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
