The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
North will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pudzianowski walks into a straight right hand from North.
It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut.
Pudzianowski looks to land a combination but North avoids it well.

Pudzianowski's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
North fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and North moves into the clinch.
Pudzianowski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and North decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pudzianowski's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
North decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pudzianowski, up you get!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
North dodges the punch combination from Pudzianowski.
Mariusz Pudzianowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
North fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pudzianowski sprawls well initially but North persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pudzianowski is trying to stand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
North not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Pudzianowski feints and as North raises his hands in defense, Pudzianowski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
North has a closed guard, preventing Pudzianowski from standing up.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby North.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for North, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
