Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between TJ Goodard (ranked 5477 p4p, 622 weight class) and Lyfe Wrecker (ranked 3858 p4p, 484 weight class). Goodard comes to the ring accompanied by A Sight to Behold. TJ Goodard had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, TJ Goodard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lyfe Wrecker! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goodard is looking to clinch but Wrecker is avoiding it.
Goodard fails with the takedown. Wrecker is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Wrecker clinches. Wrecker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Goodard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Goodard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Goodard swings around for an armbar but Wrecker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Goodard's guard. Goodard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Goodard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Goodard tries to get out of the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrecker stopping the sweep attempt from Goodard. Wrecker wants to control from the top but Goodard keeps moving. Goodard throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Goodard is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Goodard controlling Wrecker's posture. Wrecker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Goodard thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Wrecker is fighting to break Goodard's control of his arms but Goodard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Wrecker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Goodard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wrecker's guard.
Goodard looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Goodard scoring with punches to the head and body. Goodard looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goodard won't allow Wrecker to get back to his feet. Goodard stands up over Wrecker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Goodard engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Goodard seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wrecker for as long as he can get away with. Wrecker has momentary wrist control but Goodard slips an elbow through the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goodard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Goodard pushes down on Wrecker's leg and manages to get into half guard. Goodard lands strikes from half guard. Goodard wants to pass the guard but Wrecker is defending well. Goodard working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Goodard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wrecker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Goodard working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Goodard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wrecker's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ Goodard dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Goodard shoots for a takedown but Wrecker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Goodard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Goodard takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wrecker misses with a series of wild punches.
Wrecker throws a combination. Goodard tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Goodard fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wrecker stuns Goodard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Goodard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wrecker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Goodard looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Goodard backs off Wrecker throws a huge counter combo but Goodard manages to avoid it all. Goodard tries to clinch there but Wrecker circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Goodard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Goodard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wrecker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Goodard looks for a takedown but Wrecker sprawls well. Goodard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wrecker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goodard controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wrecker keeping moving, preventing Goodard from controlling successfully. Goodard lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wrecker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goodard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Goodard tries to free his leg and advance position but Wrecker is retaining full guard. Goodard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Goodard content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goodard won't allow Wrecker to get back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goodard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wrecker gets tackled into the ropes by Goodard. Goodard maintains the clinch. Goodard decides to pull guard. Goodard keeping full guard, as Wrecker tries to pass. Goodard controlling the position. Wrecker scoring with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wrecker is sitting in close to Goodard's body. Goodard has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wrecker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wrecker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Goodard.
