Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Kothciushco (ranked 4406 p4p, 482 weight class) and Delvin Shore (ranked 4712 p4p, 508 weight class). Krzysztof Kothciushco could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Delvin Shore's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Krzysztof Kothciushco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Delvin Shore! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Shore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kothciushco is not content to let Shore control the position. Shore with the ground and pound but Kothciushco regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Shore is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kothciushco doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shore. Kothciushco has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kothciushco keeps control of the position for the meantime. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shore throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shore is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Shore is working for a kimura but Kothciushco is defending it quite comfortably.
Shore looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Shore is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kothciushco doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shore. Kothciushco has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shore is working away from the top position though.

Kothciushco keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kothciushco missing with punches from the bottom.
Shore takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Shore seems to be working for a kimura but Kothciushco defends the submission attempt. Shore tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kothciushco knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shore sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kothciushco defending well though. Shore throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kothciushco tries to get to full guard but Shore has control of the leg. Shore has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kothciushco defend it? Shore steps over the head and cranks it - Kothciushco is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Shore!
