Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Walcott! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walcott looks to land a combination. Brooksbank sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Brooksbank feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've been hearing good reports from Brooksbank's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Walcott controlling Brooksbank's posture. Walcott is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brooksbank wants to control from the top but Walcott keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walcott being controlled here, momentarily. Walcott seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Walcott is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Brooksbank looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Walcott is figuring out what he wants to do next. Brooksbank is looking for a sweep. Walcott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walcott is taking a breather. Brooksbank says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Walcott is trying to control the action in half guard but Brooksbank is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Well, if Walcott is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooksbank wants to control but Walcott is keeping busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Walcott displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brooksbank. Walcott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brooksbank. Walcott throws a counter combo. Brooksbank gets tackled into the cage by Walcott. Walcott maintains the clinch. Brooksbank is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Walcott lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Walcott lands on the inside with an uppercut. Walcott lands a shoulder strike. Walcott lands with a short shot to the head. Brooksbank is trying to break the clinch but Walcott is controlling him. Brooksbank fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Walcott. Oh Brooksbank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Walcott pushes Brooksbank back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Walcott lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Walcott lands a body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walcott pushes Brooksbank against the cage. Walcott is working some dirty boxing. Walcott pushes off with a quick right hook! Brooksbank goes down! Brooksbank tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Walcott moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Walcott! Jumping up and down and very excited, Tommy Walcott waved his t-shirt featuring IniTech Nutrition 's logo in front of the cameras.
