Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Bogard (ranked 3837 p4p, 89 weight class) and Hamish McTavish (ranked 4179 p4p, 144 weight class). The key to victory for Andy Bogard has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Bogard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hamish McTavish! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bogard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McTavish's head backwards. Bogard chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bogard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McTavish counters with a takedown into side control. Bogard manages to work his way to half guard, despite McTavish's best efforts. McTavish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bogard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McTavish lands with a punch from half guard. Bogard is trying to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McTavish in particular looking to stall. McTavish is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. McTavish drops an elbow to the side of Bogard's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bogard is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McTavish scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bogard is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bogard manages to get to full guard.
Oh Bogard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! McTavish must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McTavish landing some decent shots from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bogard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McTavish defends it easily. Bogard seems to have got his legs back now. McTavish works over Bogard with some ground and pound from guard. McTavish looking to control the position here, rather than advance. McTavish gets to his feet and stands over Bogard, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Bogard felt that one! McTavish unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Bogard from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamish McTavish! In his post fight interview, Hamish McTavish started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
