Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra tries to clinch up.

Zap pushes Guerra up against the cage in a clinch.
Guerra has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zap avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Guerra with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Guerra tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zap smiles and moves away.
Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zap swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Zap closes the distance and clinches.

Zap's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zap misses with a head kick.
Guerra with a lazy takedown attempt

and Zap holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dorian Guerra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zap has Guerra pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zap pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Guerra tumbling to the mat - Zap dives into Guerra's guard.
Guerra is looking to stand up but Zap isn't so interested in that idea.

Zap stands and throws Guerra's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Zap has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Guerra is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zap yanks on the arm and Guerra is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zap.
