Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries for a takedown but Carter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carter, pushing him back against the cage.
Carter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith moves into range and clinches up with Carter.
Carter works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Carter distracts Smith with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Carter lands a couple of digs.
Smith should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Smith working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carter.
Carter drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Carter off! Carter jumps back into Smith's guard.
Carter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Carter landing with the ground and pound.

Smith looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Carter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Carter connects with a couple of short punches.
Smith wants to stand but Carter is controlling the position.
Carter drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Carter as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Smith screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Carter! Nice submission victory there!
