Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Glascoe (ranked 3563 p4p, 446 weight class) and Eliott Leighton (ranked 1955 p4p, 265 weight class). Leighton has chosen Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leighton forces Glascoe back against the cage and clinches.

Glascoe trying to control the position but instead, Leighton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Glascoe into the cage.
Leighton tries to throw a body punch but Glascoe avoids it by throwing Leighton back against the cage.
Glascoe can't find room to land a body shot as Leighton controls the action.

Leighton breaks the clinch.
Glascoe tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Leighton is able to avoid easily.
Leighton steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Glascoe.

I was talking to Glascoe's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Leighton has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Glascoe seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Leighton can turn it around.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glascoe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Leighton lands a big uppercut and Glascoe crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Glascoe looks OK. Leighton waves Glascoe back to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Glascoe wants to stay close but Leighton steps back to make room for something. Glascoe seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Leighton and Glascoe drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
