Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Tim Greene (ranked 7543 p4p, 325 weight class) and James Mitchell (ranked 2955 p4p, 148 weight class). Greene's entrance music is Back In Black. A fine choice. James Mitchell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Greene! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Mitchell! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greene is looking to clinch but Mitchell is avoiding it.
Greene fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mitchell throws a leg kick but Greene sees it coming and checks it nicely. Mitchell tries to clinch up but Greene circles away and keeps his distance. Greene is looking for a counter combo. An inside leg kick lands from Mitchell. Greene buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mitchell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Greene. Mitchell throws a nice outside leg kick. Mitchell tries to clinch up. Mitchell connects with a high kick. James Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mitchell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Greene is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greene throws a nice looking combination but Mitchell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Greene throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Greene swats away the attempt to clinch by Mitchell. Mitchell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitchell wants to clinch up but Greene keeps it at a distance. Mitchell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Greene closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Greene misses with a knee strike.

Mitchell manages to break the clinch.
Greene fails to land with a series of punches.
Mitchell darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Mitchell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Good shot there by Mitchell. Mitchell throws a head kick that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Mitchell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mitchell lands with a hook. Greene tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitchell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mitchell misses the shot to the body. Mitchell is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. The fight stays on the outside here - Greene looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mitchell takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Greene lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mitchell throws a head kick that Greene semi-blocks.
Greene avoids the body shot from Mitchell.
Greene walks into a stiff left hand from Mitchell. A head kick misses from Mitchell. Mitchell doesn't manage to clinch there - Greene circles away.
Mitchell throws a quick inside leg kick. Greene takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A combination from Greene does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Mitchell dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Greene tries to clinch up. Greene needs to keep his hands up - Mitchell had a free shot at his head there. Mitchell throws a head kick that misses. Mitchell looks to land a body kick but Greene moved away. Mitchell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Greene tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Mitchell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Mitchell. Mitchell scores with a nice strike. Mitchell scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Donk. Greene catches Mitchell right on the button with a cross. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mitchell shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Greene went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Greene walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mitchell. Mitchell lands a head kick!
Mitchell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mitchell misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene swinging wildly here.
Mitchell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Mitchell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Greene went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mitchell looks to land a body kick but Greene moved away. Mitchell scoring well with a low kick there.
Greene on the wrong end of a nice jab. Mitchell finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Greene has managed to clinch.
Mitchell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Mitchell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mitchell scores with a nice body kick.
Greene misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mitchell raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Greene looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitchell swings for the body but Greene moves out of range.
Greene closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mitchell scoring well with a low kick there.
This has been an exciting period of action! Mitchell lands a front kick. Mitchell moves out of range of the body kick from Greene.
Mitchell throws a leg kick which misses Greene's front leg but catches the back leg as Greene tries to avoid it. Mitchell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Greene rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mitchell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Greene rushes Mitchell and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Mitchell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mitchell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Mitchell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Greene moves forwards but Mitchell connects with a nice, crisp jab. A left lands for Mitchell. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Mitchell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Greene throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Tim Greene is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mitchell scores with a hook. Greene circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mitchell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Greene. Greene circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Mitchell shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Mitchell looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Greene doesn't manage to clinch there - Mitchell circles away.

Greene takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mitchell motions for Greene to come forward. Mitchell throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Mitchell throws a head kick but Greene moves out of range.
Greene tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Mitchell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mitchell tries a quick counter leg kick but Greene is wise to it. A punch combination from Greene misses. Greene throws the kick towards the body but Mitchell avoids it. Mitchell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mitchell lands a nice leg kick that just misses Greene's sensitive parts. Greene instigates a clinch. Mitchell struggles to land a body shot inside as Greene controls his hands.
Mitchell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Greene takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Greene is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitchell misses with a wild body shot. Greene rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mitchell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mitchell digs a good hook to Greene's body.
Greene is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Mitchell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mitchell moves into range and connects with a jab. Mitchell lands with a slapping head kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mitchell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mitchell finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Greene scores with a three punch combo!
Tim Greene has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! James Mitchell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mitchell scores with a kick to the midsection.
And that's the end of the fight! James Mitchell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mitchell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
