Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dante Gael Roman (ranked 3750 p4p, 183 weight class) and Creature Of Habit (ranked 5548 p4p, 259 weight class). Creature Of Habit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Of Habit digs a good body shot into Roman's ribs.
Of Habit lands with a shot to the body.
Roman looks to land a left hand but Of Habit moved out of range nicely.
Roman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Of Habit, as that shot connected.
Roman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Good leg kick by Of Habit there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Roman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Roman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Of Habit looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Roman tries to work over Of Habit's front leg with a kick but Of Habit checks it.
A combination from Roman does no damage.
Of Habit swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Roman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Roman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Of Habits jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Of Habit lands a nice leg kick that just misses Roman's sensitive parts.

Of Habit misses with a hook. Roman ducked under it nicely.

Of Habit wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Roman tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Of Habit lands a glancing blow to the side of Roman's head.

Roman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Roman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Roman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Of Habit's head.
Of Habit lands a body shot.
Of Habit throws a leg kick which misses Roman's front leg but catches the back leg as Roman tries to avoid it.
Roman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Of Habit on his heels. He'll look to pass Of Habit's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Of Habit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Of Habit manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roman manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Of Habit with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Roman is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Roman misses the shot to the body.
Roman misses with an uppercut.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Roman moves out of range of the body kick.
Creature Of Habit seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Roman is looking to clinch but Of Habit is avoiding it.
Of Habit jabs at Roman's body.
Of Habit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Roman. Roman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Roman is looking to score with low kicks.
Of Habit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Of Habit drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Roman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Of Habit has Roman in his guard.

Roman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Of Habit looking for a guillotine here but Roman defends easily.
Roman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Of Habit swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Of Habit is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Roman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Of Habit on the ground.

Creature Of Habit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Of Habit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
