Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terryn Dall (ranked 1432 p4p, 171 weight class) and Micky Scouser (ranked 1529 p4p, 188 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terryn Dall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Micky Scouser! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scouser throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dall was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Scouser moves into range and clinches up with Dall. Scouser lands an uppercut. Scouser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Micky Scouser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scouser connects with a leg kick. Dall looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Scouser misses with an uppercut. And Dall counters with a quick kick to the body but Scouser blocks it. Scouser gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dall. An inside leg kick lands from Scouser. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scouser lands a front kick. Scouser connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Scouser throws a hook but Dall avoids it easily. It looked like Dall wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall lands a really nice looking cross but Scouser seems unphased.

A little feinted left hand from Dall on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Scouser throws a body punch but Dall moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Scouser looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Scouser looks to score with a jab to the body but Dall is just out of range. Dall swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Scouser misses with a wild body shot. Scouser on the wrong end of a nice hook. Scouser throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Dall is looking to counter punch. Dall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scouser.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Scouser keeps Dall at a distance using the push kick. Scouser misses the shot to the body. Dall is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Dall slips a jab from Scouser. Scouser misses the shot to the body. Dall avoids the body shot from Scouser.
Dall takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Scouser's guard. Dall is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Jacks Fight Club that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scouser pulls Dall in close to prevent any damage. Scouser is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Scouser manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dall has Scouser in his guard. Scouser seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Scouser won't allow Dall to sweep him here. Dall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scouser gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Scouser is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Scouser throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scouser trying to control the position from guard on top but Dall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scouser doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dall is tightening it up a little... Scouser has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Scouser reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Scouser taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dall!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Terryn Dall! Terryn Dall was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
